Could you please check the following sentences for grammar mistakes and word choice?

“Imagine a Day” is a picture book in which imagination transcends human limitations. As we travelled from page to page, as we admired and discussed the author’s imagination painted both in words and pictures, we observed our own imagination burgeoning.  By the time we arrived to the last page, our mind creations clamoured to be heard. At that time only one course of action beckoned to us: capturing in words one of our ideas before they dissipated. Instantly, pencils began frantically flying across paper. Everywhere you looked you saw shining eyes, beaming faces, and heard hardly audible whispers asking, “Want to read mine? Do you like it?” Oh, yes our pride was palpable. On a couple of occasions we revisited, we altered our creations. Sentences tailored to our taste we proceeded to illustrate them. We are very happy to have authored this book.

Thnak you very much for your help
