Oxen are grass-fed//grass-feeding animals.

Hi,
Which fits better in the above, grass-fed or grass-feeding? Thanks.

I think grass-feeding is better.  Grass-fed implies that they are not capable of feeding themselves.  (I would say, "grass-eating," or "grazing.")

You often hear the expression "corn-fed pork,"  but this is when they're raised to be butchered.   And hogs are not grazing animals.  I don't think you'd just turn 'em loose in the corn field.
