Four different letters... that means there are two double letters. And six letters in total... Temporal adverb and "extremely common"... I really don't know. Amy, you guess, I'll watch, LOL Wink [;)]

If you don't have a sense of humor already, it's about time you buy one.

Yup, that's why I thought 'anyway' looked semi-promising.

I've been trying to think of something else, but I'm stumped -- just like Barb is.

MM, would you consider giving us one of the letters in the word? Pretty please? Big Smile [:D]

I'd like to buy a vowel. Vanna, are there any O's?

- six-letter adverb
- the word does not contain the letter T
- the word does not end in -ly
- 'temporal' adverb
- six-letter word consisting of only 4 different letters

That's right-- but it is never used as an introductory word in a sentence; it is strictly a postmodifier.  And congratulations on finding the 6-letter, 4-different-letter adverb 'anyway'... but that's not it.

I'm sorry, I'm not to be bought, but I will do you an immense favour-- I will reveal the existence of an apostrophe!

I sure do doubt that anyone will ever outdo that last one, MM.  And now I know why Vanna wouldn't sell Barb an O. Stick out tongue [:P]

Hmmm, let's see..... OK,  I've got one.

Nine letters. The letter O does not appear in the word. Smile [:)]
