Very low level: Water (molecules)
Higher level: Sand (grains, much larger than molecules...)  My noun does not seem to fit into this scheme (not that I understand it).

Man-made.-- Yes, indeed.

OK, then does it come in crates, tubes, bottles, ... or another kind of vessel? (I mean the second noun). Is it some kind (part) of dress?

Mister Micawber
.
Yes-- mostly those [=houses/flats] of hippies and grandmothers, I suppose.

Is your object decorative or useful?
Does it have a specific colour?
Does it have a particular smell?

I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what hippies and grandmas have in common.

Hmmmm... blue hair doesn't work.  That has too few letters and is also two words. Stick out tongue

Maybe Mr. Micawber assumes all grandmas are hippies in their heart???

Good morning, everyone.

OK, then does it come in crates, tubes, bottles, ... or another kind of vessel?-- No
Is it some kind (part) of dress?-- No
Is your object decorative or useful?--Often both
Does it have a specific colour? -- Hmm.  Well, I think it has a specific range of colours
Does it have a particular smell?-- As with colour-- but not so's you'd notice
hippies and grandmas-- On better consideration, I suppose this remark was more facetious than accurate.  It appears in many homes.

Is it packed in rolls?
Is it made of textile/wood/wool
Is it movable or fixed to a certain place?

Is it packed in rolls? -- No, not to my knowledge
Is it made of textile/wood/wool -- Yes
Is it movable or fixed to a certain place? -- Very much moveable

A couple of bits of trivia which should help you:   Although the word is uncountable, its second component is usually countable and plural.  Also, both components have the same initial letter.

«Is it made of textile/wood/wool -- Yes» — which one?

Is it a kind of bag?
Is it used to carry things/to affect(change) things/to store things...?
