Is it heavier than a cat (if it has the property of weight)? I don't think it can be weighed.

When was it invented? Sometime between the mid-70s and the mid-80s, I think.

GG: «...the final syllable is actually a common noun» Amy theYank here. Wink

Oh noes, a composite noun again? Don't worry!  It's an extremely well-known word.

Hmmm.

Touch? No.

Lift? No.

Have? Well, 'have' can certainly be collated with it.

Buy?  You cannot buy it in the sense that afterwards you own all of it and it belongs to you alone.

Is it even material (non-abstract)

...And where was it invented?

Sorry for confusing you with GG... I am at uni now, and in a hurry, so this thread helps me relax between bursts of activity...

I guess I'd say that a wide variety of materials are needed to produce and obtain it.  However, I'd say people would view this thing as something that is not tangible.

It was invented in the USA as far as I know.

Is it a branch of pop-culture, or somehow related thereto?

I'd say it certainly has become very popular worldwide.

Does it have something to do with art?

No, not really.  However, it might help you experience art and/or learn something about art.  And I suppose there are people who see themselves as specialists in creating art for this.
