Vincent TeoCan I say,One day, John went to the barber when he woke up, he was shocked to find himself bold / hairless. - bald(i) I think bold is correct, but , when do we use "hairless"? Any examples? (ii) barber is a shop? or the person?
Hi New2grammer,
I am not completely sure about this but I think people prefer 'hair salon' over 'barber's' more nowadays as 'barber's' is considered sexist.
