Hey,

Please let me know which of the following sentences is gramatically wrong:

1. If any of the subjects listed in the report have been classified as a Fail you will need to revisit the associated learning for the topic.

2. If any of the subjects listed in the report has been classified as a Fail you will need to revisit the associated learning for the topic.

Please help!!!

Thanks a lot.

Rochelle

Sentence 2 is incorrect. "Have been" corresponds to the plural "subjects"

I'd think that "if any of ... has been..." is a correct agreement...
