I have a party to go to next week.

That's how you should say it.

Thank you Califjim,

Why in the second setence that we do not need the preposition " to"?

#2 I will be having a party to go next  week

Hi,

If you really want to say that, you would need 'to', but it's a strange thing that you would never really say. Just say it the way CJ suggested.

Best wishes, Clive
