Could you make a simple sample sentence for each case? What do you wish to do with the 'be'? Both use and omit it? For example:

'I have studied English for many years' vs. 'English has been studied by many Japanese'?

Is this what you wish to compare?

Why be?


Because I read a lot of books who teacher gave me to make summary and I found verb + be + past participle and teacher want me make summary for story. That why I am very care about be and my teacher told me must be use models voice correct but me I use it not correct after that my teacher very angry to me and gave me bad mark. My teacher is responsible about that she doesn’t explain that to student and she said learn it alone and just read books .

I study in University and I need know that to make report and summary and a lot of thing for my project.

Please sir if you can explain that to me every day one lessen and I am thankful for you. Let me know function for all that one by one and don’t forget to take time until my university open it 4 September and I am promise don’t make noise for you .

Thank you sir, I am understand what did you said about present perfect now, I hope see that different between can and could with function . it is wrong or right and correct sentence.

Some function I don’t understand please give me sentence for that.

·to express theoretical possibility:

could use if for

·to express an ability in the past:
I could be won when I played tennis. ( I make it)
·to express past or future permission:
( difficult if you can sir give me some of sentences )
·to express present possibility:
I could be passed on college. ( I make it)
·to express possibility or ability in contingent circumstances:
( difficult if you can sir give me some of sentences )
