Hello, I am wondering if I could get another quick grammar editing with this short little paragraph. Thanks alot.

People who are well fed and educated are just as self-centered as those who suffer in poverty and lack proper education. The society in The Winner is relatively crude. People live in mud huts, plant their own food, and receive a simple education compared to the West. The Shinning Houses evolves around a different part of the spectrum.  The inhabitants live in a section of the western society that does not “[make] their living by physical work (67)”. They are mostly white-collars that are not too terribly wealthy but fare better than most and have high expectations. Yet, people in this middle-class, westernized society are just as selfish as those that live in Buganda. In Buganda, busloads of relatives came to visit Pius, the elderly lottery winner, not because they want to “congratulate” him on his win but because they want to “[clamour] for his attention (98)” and see the “telegram that announced [his] win (99)”. Everyone is concerned about where the money is going and cares little about Pius.
