I can speak English but recently, I checked in the dictionary and grammar book, and I found out that my English is so crap and I feel ashamed to myself.

My accent is so funny: Sometimes it sounds American. Sometimes English aka British and i dunno maybe Australian too. Can someone help me how to speak in the right accent. To help you guys teach me, Im gonna tell you that most of the time my english is more into the English aka British accent. Maybe because of my English blood and from the media feeds. I NEED TO TALK IN ONE ACCENT! hehehehe

Huh! This is gonna be a very long story for me to tell. I dunno why to me, my English is very bad eventhough all of my high school friends said that my English is the most 'accurate' and I was the fluent speaker then. Do you guys think that its because I was too worry about my English? I dunno but to me English is very important because I have the English blood running in my body.

The next thing is more funny! I don't speak English most of the time because my family don't practice English in house and they prefer to speak Malaysian. So, I'm very afraid if one day, I would lost my confident to speak English! Even at this time, I have started to feel the nervousness when I wanna talk in English.

Wow! Please help me........

Mike, all I've got to say, is relax and enjoy your ability to speak English. The accent makes no difference at all. The world is full of Malaysian-English, Singaporean-English, Canadian-English, Indian-English, Jamaican-English and dozens of other Englishes of various mixes. If you don't worry about it, just use it when you have a chance, with anyone of any accent, you won't lose it.
