I want to say "learn to use a computer system", can I say "train on (a certain computer system)" What wouls you say? Are there any other verbs to use?
What would you call the different department at a research institute? Each division specialises in a research area, is it a laboratory? a research Group? I wish to hear your opinion as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

I have no definitive answers.
Learn to use a computer system.
Train on a computer system.
Practice with a computer system.
Diode Research Department (the group of employees)
Diode Research Division (the group of employees)
Diode Research Laboratory (the place, if it has test tubes and oscillators)
Diode Research Group/Team (the group of employees)
Diode Research Facility/Area (the place)
There are some options for you.
