1. We are sorry to advise you that because of gift boxes some materials are short and there is a  consequent delay from the factory.   We are unable to meet the latest shipment date on 25 May, and would like to request a shipment extension to June 05. The goods will be ready on May 26, and can catch the vessel with ETD June 05. Would you please confirm your acceptance by return email? Please also amend the letter of credit to us ASAP.  

2. The material shortage is not an excuse to delay the shipment. We asked for this schedule two weeks ago and there should be enough time for you to prepare the materials. We will try to request an shipment extension from the customer, and confirm it with you later.  We checked with our customer, they accepted the shipment extension to the end of May. Please follow up with your supplier to keep to the agreed-upon schedule. If you cannot keep to this schedule, it must be shipped by air at your expense. Finally, please confirm when you will send the shipment sample to us.
