Hi there,

I am working on a Requirements Document for a system that will help to track and monitor the Personal Financial Resources. My problem is that I don't know whether the term Financial Resources covers both the Resources of Consumption (I mean by this term the resources that needs you to spend money for) & the Resources of Earnings, or just the Resources of Earnings. Moreover, I need to give a name to the system and I am actually confused between two names which are:

Personal Money Management System

Personal Financial Management System

So, which one do you think is better? .. I will be thankful if somebody enlighten me about that Financial Area and the right terms to use.

Thanks In Advance Smile [:)]

'Resources' are sources, so I do not understand what you mean by 'resources of consumption'-- it seems to me that those should be 'expenses', while your income is your 'resource'.

In any case, I prefer 'Personal Financial Management System'-- it is then not restricted to cash money only, but can include futures options transactions, etc.  On the other hand, 'Personal Money Management System' is more straightforward.
