I am trying to write a paper for college addmissions and I need help with a sentence. It's VERY important that I get it correct. (I know its such a simple question), but when do I use a semi-colon or a comma? Are these following sentences correct?

My duties at SCALS include drafting legal letters and pleadings; observing in court; client intakes; filing; and more.  I have put myself in another environment that was new to me and excelled, enjoyed it, and learned so much.

Use commas where you have semi-colons. Sometimes you will use semi-colons in a list if the individual elements in the list have commas within them. (For example, common flag colors are red, white and blue; red, white and green; and blue and white.)

There is no need for them in your sentence.

Also, when you say that your duties "include" there is no need for "and more." Include authomatically indicates that it's not an all-inclusive list. I would suggest this: ... put myself in a new environment, where I excelled...excelled
