First, I'm sorry I didn't make the title to this thread more specific, but the truth is I couldn't figure how to.
As far as my doubt goes, I find a bit confussing to get the exact meaning of what is being conveyed as the two prepositions in red make it a little bit ambiguous for me.
"After the documentary I hated them, but it took some time for this whole thing to kind of reveal itself. There are certain things that I miss in James, certain things that I'm glad are gone with Lars and just there's no more sour grapes". [the guy speaking is a former band mate].
- Does the "miss in James" bit imply he misses features James doesn't have anymore, or does it mean he misses those feastures that are still in James but he cannot see any longer as they are distanced now?
- Does the "are gone with Lars" bit imply he is glad he doesn't have to cope with those things anymore as he doesn't have to be with him, or does it mean he's glad Lars overcome those things?
Hope I made myself clear.
