There are some compainions to this phrase, such as "There you go", "Here you go", etc. To my mind, they mean that you have just got something you wanted or expected to get, like "Here you go, here is your change", or "There you go, you've just got into a trouble, you should have expected that!", and so on... But these are only my guesses, I wish someone would explain this phrase in more detail. Thanks.

very much dependant on the contex , it sometimes mean: "a new situation is coming up and we have to face it," as said by kids, while doing some secret things in a garden and the gardener arrives.
