Show me if those are correct or not ??. pleasse

As psychotherapy session, open-ended question is very important to begin the interview. Through this sort of question, I can know Nora’s life past. For example; the question  was that “where did you get those shoes?”, I asked Nora. She said that “ I bought them from Dune last month”. Then, I complete asked about her diary. For instance, how many do you go to shopping in a month?, and is shopping including one of your hobbies?.

thanks

In a psychotherapy session, it is very important to begin the interview with an open-ended question. Through this type of questioning, I can find out about Nora's past. For example the question I asked Nora was “where did you get those shoes”?

She replied “I bought them from Dune last month”.

Then, to finish, I asked about her diary. For instance, “how many times do you go shopping in a month,” and “is shopping included as one of your hobbies”?

I can't say this rewriting is in perfect English, but it makes more sense.
