What do you think about these?

1 I can't hold out another 3 hours until the store opens. I'm falling asleep.

2 After my injury I didn't think I could hold out on the court for the full 90 min. (football)

One more question, is the following correct?

  • He acts as if it annoys him to do it when in reality he wants you to ask him to do it.

thank you

All three of those sentences seem fine, correct, and clear.

1.  Is this person falling asleep while waiting in line to get in the store?

2.  court should be changed to field.  Basketball is played on a court, but football is played on a field.

Thank you, but wouldn't number 1 be:

1 I can't hold out another 3 hours for the store to open.

thank you

That's okay too.  There are often several ways to say something.
