1)    There is nowhere /  no place like home.

2) There is not anywhere like home.

3) He is not ony handsome, but also very gallant.

4) He wants to give her a gift for her birthday to express his gratefulness / thankfulness to her, because she has helped him have a good teaching position at a reputable /  famous school.

- Are these sentences ok to say?

Thanks very much in advance.

1) there is nowhere like home does make sense but the usual idiom is 'There's no place like home'.

2) Again, it makes sense, but not the usual idiom.

3) ok

4) He wants to give her a birthday present to express how grateful he is that she helped him get a good teaching position at a reputable/famous school.
