The 'at' is optional, Hanuman. Both are adverbs of place.

'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master-- that's all.'

Sir,
"at home" is adverb of place.
But "at" is preposition and take noun or pronoun as object so "home" as noun.
How come "at home" is adverb.
"at home" is adverbial in(2) and "home" adverb in (1).
am I right?
Thanks.

Sorry to be so terse. 'At home' is a prepositional phrase serving as an adverbial of place. 'Home' is a noun phrase serving as an adverbial of place.
