May I ask about the difference between horror and thriller movies? Please advise.

horror involves crimes, killings, etc, thrillers don't necessarily do so, they just keep you very interested:

----------
thrill·er

Function:noun
Inflected Form(s):-s
Etymology:thriller from 1thrill + -er; thriller-diller from thriller + -diller (as in killer-diller)
: one that produces thrills ; especially : a work of fiction or drama designed to hold the interest by the use of a high degree of action, intrigue, adventure, or suspense
------------

Hi guys,

As simple definitions, I'd prefer to say that a horror movie makes you scared and a thriller makes you excited. There are many movies that make me interested but which I would not consider as thrillers.

Best wishes, Clive

Yes, excited is better than interested for thrillers ...

I always associate thriller with suspense.
