Hi Appuu!  Welcome to Englishforums!

A good way to increase your vocabulary is to read a lot.  If you have studied English at school level, then you can start off by reading the newspapers everyday.  Always keep a dictionary handy so that you can look up meanings and even check out the pronunciations.  Watch the news on TV preferably BBC or CNN which will give you an idea of the British English and American English pronunciations.  Do do not hesitate to speak up and if you have friends who speak English fluently, ask them to correct you if you go wrong.  Be a sporting learner!  Good luck!Smile [:)]

I agree with all advices posted here, and want to add one more method: watching English movies. If you knowledge is not enough to understand all the words, those English movies with subtitles will fit you best. I think they provide subtitles in every video DVD..
Also, for those of you looking for online ways of learning, I recommend a post by ELECTRICA titled FREE DOWNLOADS AND ONLINE LESSONS. She carried out nice research there Wink [;)]
