Hi, I am a student who is studying English in Vancouver. During my study, I have lived a lot of disappointment and learned a lot form them.

I'd like to give a few tips at this web site who is looking for study English in Vancouver.

FIRST OF ALL, PLEASE BE SURE HOW YOUR SCHOOL REFUND POLICY?

If your school is a good school, It must have a fair refund policy. Many schools have rules which is making impossible refund.

If you are not satisfied with your school, you have to be able to get back your money when you abandon your school.

SECONDLY, PLEASE RESEARCH DOES YOUR SCHOOL HAVE A COSTUMER CARE / RELATION DEPARTMENT?

You will have a lot problem with your school and it is natural. However, the important point is How your school will react.

Please research when you cannot solve your problem with a local officer whether there is a person who you can inform about your problem.

THIRD IMPORTANT POINT, DOES YOUR SCHOOL HAVE A QUALITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ?

I don't mean a quality certificate because it is a paper which is sold by money.

I mean like EFQM , Sigma 6 or for language school EAQUALS management model.

thanks for the post. It is very important to do some research before choosing which English language school to study. But also a lot of smaller English schools have very high standards and more stability with teachers. This is especially true of schools in small towns which in general rely on word of mouth and long standing relationships. Make sure to choose a well established school that's accredited by a government body. Here is a list of good English language schools in English speaking countries.
