I've never seen permafrost around here...
I guess, it's common to far north, I mean, the northern part of Siberia, closer to the Polar Circle..

I've traveled quite a lot, been to Europe and America, and was extremely surprised to know how people usually imagine Siberia! Somebody was sure we have bears walking in the streets, or live in huts made of snow....Others believed that all the territory is covered with snow all the year round....So what do YOU think about Siberia? Just curious!
Only know its freezing weather..
Brrr...

I'm Ioana from Romania, 24, for now I'm living in USA, but I am now and I always was curious about Siberia. I read some things about Siberia, but I have to go there to understand better. I don't belive that the economie is much diferent from Romania, but I'm very curious about the nature and people. I hear something strange...that at the enterance of every town is a police ofice and you have to show your paper and Id before get in. This sounds strange but the rest...sounds great..and I want very much to go there.
I'm sure that you have nice stories about your country, I'll like to read some...my mail adress is <removed mod>
