I need help with these sentences.
1. How many trees are/is there?
2. How many people is/are there?
3. How many of you is/are there?
In first, trees are plural, so 'are' should be correct.
Second, people are either plural.I'm not sure but couldn't be people considered as a group
in which case 'is' would be more appropriate?
Third, again speaker is referring to a group.
Anyone can help?
Thank you.

You are correct, in each of the above you should use 'are'
In response to your question about the second one, people are plural and group is singular, but try to imagine the question phrased as follows:
'How many people ARE there (in the group)'
