Hi,

Which one of the following sentences sounds better?

  1. How much would revenue have to fall to cause the company to trip its covenants?
  2. By how much would revenue have to fall...
  3. How much revenue would have to fall …

Thanks,

MG.

  • How much would revenue have to fall to cause the company to trip its covenants?
  • By how much would revenue have to fall...
  • How much revenue would have to fall …
  • Either of the first two are fine.  (The by is optional in either the statement or the question form.)  Don't use the last one.  Smile
