How should I pronounce "SECOND".

How should I sound the "c" in "second"?
When most people say the word it feels like a "g" to me, but my dictionary says it's "k". I'm confused!

It's a K, but since it's not aspirated, it doesn't sound like a "strong" and noticeable K as in CUP, or COP. But it's a k anyway. Smile
