Hello Carson,

You asked:

When you say you'd like to speak like broadcasters do, do you mean that you'd also like to modify your voice so as to sound more 'newsreaderish'? If you want to learn 'newsreader slang' I think you should listen to the news as often as possible and pay attantion to quaint expressions you hear. Some language schools also offer media classes, something that you might find interesting. In regard to acquiring a 'newsreader voice' I think eloqution lessons could have a great deal to offer. The only problem with such training seems to be the cost.

HEY CARSON
You mentioned to sth that is very important
i like the idea of talking as if you were one of those broadcasters
in my opinion the only thing you could do is to listen as much as possible to the news
BUT listening itself even for many times and even if you did that daily wouldn't be enough
YOU should try to act "for example " in front of the mirror as if you were a broadcaster
try it and you will find it amazing because this way you conduct the information that is saved in you subconscious to your conscious
you will find yourself not only good listener easily but also you can talk and behave like them
as for me i prefer the british accent and i advise you to listen to BBC especially to "HARDTALK "...."stephensacker "
