Dear Cris,
I'm a first timer in ielts. I'l be taking the exam this septeber 18, 2004. I have not gone to any review center yet. Is there any other way i can pass the exam without going to a review class? I need your help very badly.

you can go and buy IELTS books . ther are lots of helpfull book .Also you can practise that through the net by downloading reading tasks and solve them.

you should study harder and harder, besides that i think you should buy some practice ielts books and ielts software to inprove
your skills at speaking wrting, listening and reading, i bought some ielts software and took part in a course so i got 6.5 mark ielts.

there are alot of things to do to pass in ielts exame>> you should make practice in all parts, reading,speaking.....exctra... the most important reading and listening you will find books for practice

yes , that is correct, I have been in australia for more than three years, and they donot pass me in the exam . it is juct making money.
