Hi,
It looks like there are no skiers on our Forum. I don't know any special skiers' slang, but let me just look at the English.
Please, could you help me correct the phrases and sentences below?
the upper part of the slope (ski run) Sounds fine
the lower part of the run or 'the slope'. Sounds fine
The slope is icy (covered with ice).Sounds fine
Grass protrudes/ stands out from snow on the slope. Perhaps 'grass is coming through the snow'.
Can I say? to snow the slope (when I'm thinking of artificial snow) I'd say something like 'to cover the slope in artificial (or 'man-made') snow'.
Best wishes, Clive
