I´m stronger (than) her

Hi,

could you please give me advice where I can find grammar explanation of using the pronouns:

"David´s taller than ME" (not I)

"He is stronger than HER" (not SHE) ...

but

"They´re smarter than WE." 

(Hope that examples are correct)
