Hello

please help me with this in red:

As the Theory of Guided Imagery, story-telling and visualization evolve and as additional research shows the relationship and contribution to educational theory, as well as to improved personal performance and creativity, we might all come to a greater appreciation of Professor Ferguson's comment in Science,1977 :"many features and qualities  of the objects..."

what is it? a book, a magazine or an article? I want to learn a technique if there is one, I mean I tried to guess  taking into consideration that the word is capitalized and written in italics, I also noticed the date, and I assume it's a book. Is there a hint there to guess or should we ,in such cases, search online right away?

Please guide me.

If it were "on" I would think it was a TV or radio show.

It says "in," so I would be thinking a book or a magazine. If it were a book, unless it were so well known that it needed no introduction, it would have said something like "in his groundbreaking book, Science," or "in Milton Hershey's anthology, Science" etc.

What is unexpected here is that Science is published monthly, I believe, so I would have expected it to say "August 1977" or something like that. Seeing the month and the year together would ahve given you a big clue that it was a magazine.
