The students of Pearl College deserve special appreciation for bringing out this issue of Cenna 2009. Cenna is indeed a platform for the expression of thoughts and feelings of the students of Pearl College. The English Section of Cenna provides a unique opportunity for the young students to express themselves on different issues of day to day life. They have utilized their full potentials and have maintained traditional literary standards in this current issue. One thing that dawned upon me was that there is immense potential in our students, and I must say that I went through a very enriching experience. I learnt a lot, not only regarding the fascinating articles of the students but also about their emotions and feelings. Their literary spirit and creative skill are worth appreciating. Not much editing and corrections were made in their writings because whatever they wrote was almost flawless and up to the mark. I hope that readers will find it both informative and enjoyable.
