Experts,

"I got your back." "I got your back covered."
What do they mean?
Their meanings can be similar to "I'm behind you." or "I'm behind you all the way."? ... or ... different and how so?

Gangster or military situation.  "You don't need to worry about looking behind you.  Just look ahead, as I am taking care of anything behind you.  Extension to less violent situations:  I will support you.
