Hello everyone! Smile [:)]

I have a question, again.

Is there any difference between "Hope I remember them" and "I hope remember them"?

Someone told me that the first option was incorrect, is it really so? I don't know, the second option sounds weird, it's af if there was something missing, like an "I" "I hope I remmeber them"..

Thank you in advance!

The first is a shortened form of "[ I] hope [that] I remember them.

The second is incorrect - unless you change it to "I hope TO remember them."

As you probably know, in informal conversation, we frequently drop the "I" in statement like that.

Barbara, who answers in American English. My housekeeping skills attest to the truth of the second law of thermodynamics: Left to themselves, things get more and more random!
