It doesn't make sense if you answer yes for it. Like it has been said before, it asks at the end if you can answer it, not if it is something. When you're a kid you tend not to over think things like you do when you get older. If you go to Harvard, or graduated from there, you aren't going to say no you can't answer it, because then well, what was all that money spent on tuition for then? Also that poem (or whatever it is about time) that is posted on here probably doesn't have anything to do with it either, because how many kindergarteners will have heard that? And even if they did hear it, how many of them will be able to connect it with the riddle? I know some kids are smart, but for all of them to get the connection? I'm very certain that the answer is "no I can't" because that's what the point of most riddles are, to make you think, and sometimes, not think. You can't over think this or you'll totally miss the point. Sometimes the answer to things are right under your nose. Besides, kids don't know that pressure makes you pee. They just know that it happens, they don't learn why until much later.

i definitely think that whoever you are, you said the most reasonable/logical/yet simple answer to the riddle in the entire forum. thank you for that.

I was actually asked this riddle like an hour ago. I answered water, since it made the most sense to me. But, after thinking a bit, I changed to my answer to "YES, WATER". Now I'm googling it and just came across this thread and thought I'd add my own thoughts.

It IS NOT "I can't" or "No"....because the last line is "CAN you GUESS the riddle?" not "CAN you SOLVE the riddle"...if anything the answer would be "Yes, I can" since anyone can take a GUESS as to what the answer is, I mean I did, so the answer obviously isn't NO.

Oh, and to why I thought water, reasons similar to someone else here:

I turn polar bears white (to camo with snow, which is water)
and I will make you cry. (I cry when it rains, haha)
I make guys have to pee (duh)
and girls comb their hair. (after a shower)
I make celebrities look stupid (make-up running)
and normal people look like celebrities. (wet hair does wonders)
I turn pancakes brown (When the water evaporates the sugar will burn turning the pancakes brown)
and make your champane bubble. (CO2 won't make bubbles in champane if there is no water, don't believe me, just stick some CO2 with salt in bottle and see for yourself)
If you squeeze me, I'll pop. (bubbles)
If you look at me, you'll pop. (bubbles, reflection of one's self)

it most definately has to be "no i can't" because kindergarten students don't think as widely as air, time, pressure, and all that. unless they asked a bunch of 5 year old genius' , i think the only possible answer is no.

I think it's being ignored over and over that the question at the end is "can you guess the riddle?" NOT "what am I?"

So, really, all your answers that actually name something off are non-sequitirs. It's a yes or no question.

Time and/or nature are responsible for:  Girls combing their hair?

                                                            Celebrities looking stupid?

                                                            Normal people looking like celebs?

                                                            Turning pancakes brown???

If you squeeze time it pops?

If you look at time, you pop?

I think you have lost your mind, sir.

Let me just say this- to all of you who said polar bears are white because of adaptation to camoflage or any of your other answers. Polar bears appear white because their hairs are actually transparent and hollow which allow the white light from the sun to reflect completely. Oh, and pressure does not create heat. In fact if you release a pressurized gas- such as CO2- through a small passage it turns cold. And, in the case of steam, heat actually creates pressure. So, yes, the only possible answer to this riddle is "no." The answer is not "yes" because a guess is not an answer. Just like if you ask me what one plus one is, if I say four that is not the answer.
