No, you sickos, I need a *gardening tool*! When my father asked me for a "ho" yesterday, I couldn't keep from cracking up! Does anyone else totally not associate the word "ho" with anying BUT crack hoes anymore? They really need to give a new name to the other hoes...

Comments...?

Not me: I do. That is, if I hear "hoe" in an ambiguoug context, depending on who's sayng it, I'll more likely think of a hoe than of a ***.

Hmmm... would that include 'Ho Chi Minh' and the city named after him? The city hasn't been called 'Saigon' since the end of the Vietnam War, er, sorry, Conflict.

What do *you* call that city, Joey? :-)

No problem the way I talk: they're pronounced quite differently.

I'm sure you're familiar with Admiral Drake's refusal to engage the Spanish Armada till he'd finished playing on Plymouth Ho'.

"No, you sickos, I need a *gardening tool*!"

Then spell it right: hoe.

Be nice to your friends. If it weren't for them, you'd be a complete stranger.

"Ho-Chi" kinda flows out all in one breath, in the same way that "Bangkok" does, so I don't associate it with street hoes; just like I don't think of assholes when I say/hear "assassination". But, at any rate, I usually just refer to Ho Chi Minh as "Saigon" or "that terrorist city" when I need to talk about it.
