Hello everybody, my name is Marina and and I’m calling all Russian people of this site! The reason is I love Russia and and I want to know all about it, from language to customs, but most at all, I want to make good friends from that beautiful country :)
I’m really interested in every little aspect you can tell me, about your city, history, music, food, traditions, points of view and (or) daily life. So I’ll thank you with my heart if you answer me!
A little about me: I’m 24 and I like to write, read a lot (Tolkien, J.K.Rowling, Anne Rice and more), and skate on ice. I love Evgeni Plushenko, and I like very much other Russian figure skaters (Yagudin, Slutskaya, Totmianina and Marinin, and a long etc.). By the way, I’m from Argentina, so , if anybody needs help with Spanish or want to make any question about this part of the world, I’ll be glad to help and answer :)

Do you see any other Argentinean tv program? Is it true that Natalia Oreiro is very popular in Russia? (here nobody believe her, actually, poor girl) Oh, and you like Zhenya too… I adore him, in my opinion he is the most talent and irresistible figure skating ever existed. Yes, there are a lot of Argentinean soap operas and other stuff on our Russian TV, the whole country was watching the one with Natalia Oreiro starring in, that's why she used to be so popular here I guess she still has many fans in Russia. As for Rebelde Way, I myself watch it every day! You know, the atmosphere there seem to be kind of unreal at least for us Russians, I can't imagine Russian students to behave like Mia, Marisa, Pablo, Manuel and others, hovewer it's really fascinating to watch it! Maybe just because it's so different!
Talking about Zhenya, I've just read his interview in today's newspaper. He says he will "fight against the world" - meant against his "enemies" on the ice. And he'll try to do his best to win the Olympics in Torino. He's not going to stop... well, I can translate the interview to you if you want, just e-mail me.
No, I've never seen him in person. He lives in St.Petersburg, you know. By the way, it's the most beautiful city in Russia! And my favorite one!!

Natalia Oreiro was very popular here, you can`t even imagine it! Most of all, she took part in Russian soap opera, she was the only star from Argentina and she had success.
