they won't get sued - they are protected by what are called "good Samaritan laws."

Hi GG, I was surprised to (just now) discover that all states now have them. I didn't mention them because I was thinking otherwise. (How time flies!) There are huge differences from state to state. Some protect all citizens, others protect only professionals. Still others protect citizens who have certified training.
