Hi Shama,

I feel a bit like you are just posting your homework here, and asking us to do it for you.

Have you searched for these via google? Can you try to write some sentences yourself, so that we can then help you by commenting on your efforts?

Best wishes, Clive

Search with
"Letter perfect" idiom
or
"Letter perfect" dictionary
at Yahoo
and you will find relevant dictionary pages or idiom pages

For the other two (cleaners, loop), search the site I gave you, they're there:
http://www.answers.com/library/Idioms
with
cleaners
or
loop

I think so: who's controlling/dominating the family.

Hi Shama,

You're right about 'wears the pants', but I have one small comment. In my experience, it's usually used more in the context of husband and wife, of man and woman, than of the larger family.

Mary wears the pants in her family means, in effect, that her husband does not.

Best wishes, Clive
