If you prostrate yourself, you lie down flat on the ground, on your front, usually to show respect for God or a person in authority.

What does ''on your front'' mean?

face to the ground, breast to the ground 

front is the opposite of back  here

Hi,

It refers to the front part of your body.

ie your face, chest, etc. are all against the ground.

It's the opposite of lying on your back.
