I'm stuck in this matter; you may ask whoever knows better than I.

I wonder what other alternatives there are to express the same idea of the underlined part. Does this count: I'm trapped in this matter?

stuck = unable to move

stuck can have many different figurative meanings.  Can you provide more context?

trapped sounds a bit too literal for something related to knowledge.  Maybe I don't know (any more about it) is the best alternate expression.

Thanks, Jim.

It's a stand-alone test question; no larger context is available. Anyway, I get what you described.
