Hello,

I'm in my final phase a C.V. tweaking by improving its wording but I would need the advice of an English native here Smile [:)]

Before I was writing:
Tailored an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.

but I discovered that Tailored does not seize the fact that it is me who created the strategy... so after checking the Active/Positive word list, I found 3 potentials words that could me more appropriate.
1 - Implemented an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.
2 - Invented an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.
3 - Created an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.
I'm not sure about the first one, as it could IMHO make the reader believe that I just implemented it following my boss strategy/advice/etc.

Which one in your opinion would be the best word to use?

Thanks in advance
Ludo

P.s.: I was thinking to use developed but I am already using this word in another job description Smile [:)]

Hi,

1 - Implemented an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.
2 - Invented an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.
3 - Created an Internet marketing strategy to bring qualified prospects onto our band-new website implementing SEO techniques, and using Pay-Per-Click advertising.

I'm not sure about the first one, as it could IMHO make the reader believe that I just implemented it following my boss strategy/advice/etc. yes, you're right.

Which one in your opinion would be the best word to use? 'Created' is better than 'invented', which is not a common word in this kind of business context. You could always use two verbs, of course, eg 'created and implemented'. Or how about 'developed'?

Good luck with the CV, Clive

Thanks for helping again Clive,

I can't use Developed as mentionned in my P.S. as I use it just in the following paragraph to say:
Developed a new product on the Internet for personal dosimeters users worldwide (Nuclear Power Plants, hospitals, ...) with an extensive use of ASP and SQL databases.
but I could use developed if I can find an active and action verb to replace the developed in the context mentioned above...

Cheers,
Ludo

P.S.: English is very tricky when you start to go deeply into the words meanings like to make the perfect CV... or try to Smile [:)]

Hi,

Yes, avoiding repetition is a common problem in such cases. However,it's not wrong or unusual to use the same verb twice, although consecutively is not a good idea.
