"Nearly nine months ago, Lost closed its third season with a very tense situation that left viewers nervous and anxious. Neither of the two previous seasons had ended with more tension." 

I lost patience with 'Lost' over a year ago, and stopped watching. I arrived at the opinion that the writers were just making it up each week, with no overall idea of what the whole story was about.
