My sister is not in the second picture.

At the left hand side of the picture you can see the old farmhouse where I was born.

In the first picture my brother is on the right.  In the second, he's on the left.

In this picture, I'm sitting in/on my mother's lap.

This one shows my father seated at the piano.

The date appears at the bottom of the picture.

I wrote my name on the bottom of the picture.

When you are looking at the picture, your attention is fixed on the picture.

If the image captured is one with you and your girlfriend on a holiday, then you are both in the picture.
