"They must come to the truth in their own time and in their own way."

How can I understand this? A few people reversed time and talked about other people.

Here, 'in their own time' is a reference to schedule, not era or time period.  i.e. We may tell them the truth now, but their comprehension of it will not occur until they are ready.

They'll reach understanding when they'll reach understanding, when natural to them, we can't push them into it:-)

Or we can say that they will understand it when their time will come, when they'll be mature (wise, experienced...) enough to understand it. But noone else can ifluence the lenght of this period
