I will REALLY appreciate any corrections to my posts, whether it be grammar, glossary, or just something that could elevate my style. Thank you.

You need some context to go with your question. I went fishing last weekend – no prep.

What do you do for fun on the weekends?

In the weekends…um, sounds wrong to me.

BrE is different, but in American English, it's ON the weekend.
