I define poetry as something that helps you express what you feel, see, or something that surrounds you.

How do you define poetry?

quote of this day : Time, use it best cause it never come back

Poems are slums of word assembled together illogically that expresses the writers' feeling and confuses the readers' brain. --- that's my point of view when i see poems, mostly old-fashioned, that i don't understand. Yet, those poems are always considered as 'famous' and 'valuable' when I don't see how valuable they are... probably I'm need some literatural educations..

Hi Aristocles,

Before comdemning poetical writing as being illogical, first look at your own writing. As far as your opinion goes, some of the most intelligent and witty people in history have written and appreciated poetry, so you classify yourself as their direct opposite when declaring your lack of understanding. Literary education will not just help you appreciate poetry, but it will also improve your emotional intelligence, which what enables people to get along with each other.

I think poetry is the language of the heart. Poetry is very manifold and with it, it is possible to write down every kind of mood and feeling. The most poems are timeless and have a deep message. With the different variations of interpretations get everyone an own access to the poem. Poems are often drawn of the life and this worldly wisdom makes them important for others.

Expressions directed from heart n soul.
I think in poetry one cannot hide his personality, thinking, approaches and related to them pain, glad, satisfaction, irritation, love, hate and everything.

I describe my poetry as a flow of my thoughts.:)
