I know there are a few different sponsorship letters on here and I have read most of them. My case is a little different than the examples in that I am an individual looking for sponsorship and not a team or group. I'm a competitive athlete and want to write a sponsorship letter to send out to different local companies. Is there anything different I should do, or anything I should be aware of when writing a letter of this sort? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Just remember that it needs to be a commercial proposition for a company to sponsor you. Sell the benefits to them hard, what will they get in return for their money?

I am also in a similar situation, but I am training to be a soccer/football coach. Having just completed my degree, I cannot afford to pay for the course and equipment costs.

What sort of benefits can I provide a company, apart from wearing their logo/name/website etc?

Any help you could provide would be invaluable,

David
